Those individuals who have a passion for business and a strong inclination toward the helping professions are ideal candidates for a Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Argosy University. This flexible two-year online program is designed to apply the knowledge of and techniques related to human behaviors and issues involving individuals and groups in organizational and work settings.

The competency -based curriculum focuses on the outcomes of training and on the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to function as a master's level professional in this field. "Employment of psychologists is expected to grow 15 percent from 2006 to 2016, faster than the average for all occupations. Industrial-organizational psychologists also will be in demand to help to boost worker productivity and retention rates in a wide range of businesses. Industrial-organizational psychologists will help companies deal with issues such as workplace diversity and antidiscrimination policies. Companies also will use psychologists’ expertise in survey design, analysis, and research to develop tools for marketing evaluation and statistical analysis. Median annual earnings of wage and salary industrial-organizational psychologists in May 2006 were $86,420."
